On Friday, April 18, 2014, CNET Content Solutions released ChannelOnline 6.1. ChannelOnline, the web-based quoting tool that includes supplier integrations and real-time pricing and availability, introduces upgrades and added functionality in version 6.1, including proposal designer, e-signature capabilities, the addition of a detailed activity window, improvements in the use of Customer Purchase Approval Systems (CPAS), and the ability to add multiple attachments to emails, among other updates.
The most significant change in ChannelOnline 6.1 is the addition of the Proposal Designer, which enables ChannelOnline Admin users to design proposal templates and permits sales teams to build custom proposals from those templates. Proposal templates can now include a cover page, table of contents, multiple quote documents, external links, attachments, and spec sheets. The new template designer also includes the ability to add electronic signature, bypassing the StoreSite checkout process, which gives users an easier and more efficient way of gaining proposal approval from their customers.
Other changes include a more user-friendly interface for system emails, the ability to add multiple attachments to outgoing emails, new manageability of delivery status updates, and updates to site-wide navigation. ChannelOnline has also added a new integrated supplier in ScanSource Inc, which specializes in point-of-sale, barcode and communications solutions.
ChannelOnline Product Director, Keith Wilson, states, "ChannelOnline 6.1 gives application users more document customization options than ever before. From quote or proposal to document delivery and sales conversion ChannelOnline is loaded with great new features. We’re excited to be growing our product and continuing to provide customers with the most cutting edge and comprehensive quoting application in the IT and MSP market.”
